Special Visitors

Huxley got to meet his cousins Thaddeus, Isaac, Eli, and Austin.  The Brown clan came up for a visit and of course brought much appreciated gifts (food and toys - yah!)  Uncle Derek and Aunt Carrie were eager to take care of their nephew.  Austin even got to hold him for a while too!

Huxley's Big Day

We finally let Huxley venture out of the house last Friday, his first adventure of many.  We gave him the grand tour of the city.  Well it wasn't that grand, just downtown and the north side.

His first stop was Momma's office downtown.  With nearly 100 people in my office, Huxley got to see many new faces. So many, that it was difficult to even get to my desk.  Huxley did what he does best, eat and look cute.  He didn't even mind that a complete stranger was feeding him. It's all about the food at this age I suppose.
While he was entertaining my co-workers, I cleaned out my desk as I've decided to stay home and raise the munchkin.  Once he's done being cute, if ever, I'll return to the workforce and hopefully National City will take me back.

Afterwards, we travelled back to the north where Huxley visited with Grandpa at his office while I had my six week checkup.

To finish out the day, Huxley dined at Keltie's in Westfield with the Wendling clan.  He enjoyed a quiet dinner in the corner of the restaurant and fell asleep with his bottle.
