Huxley's 4 Month Stats

His four month check-up came quickly.  Below are the stats from his check-up.

Weight:  18 lbs, 2.4 oz - 93rd percentile

Length - 26 inches - 80th percentile

Head Circumference - 43 inches - 66th percentile

The check-up helped to reassure us that he is on track.  Unfortunately, he did have a round of vaccines which has caused him to have a slight fever and get a case of the grumps.  Hopefully our happy bouncing boy will reappear tomorrow.  

His next check-up and round of vaccines will be at six months.  Below is a rundown of what the pedatrician will be checking for in two months.  Many of these things Huxley is already doing:

• Babbles
• Sits with help and balances
• Grasps rattle and mouths it
• Recognizes parents
• Transfers a small object from one hand to the other
• Smiles, Laughs, Squeals
• Turns towards sounds
• Comforts self without assitance from adult or pacifier
