3 Weeks

Today, Huxley turns 3 weeks old. These past few weeks have been amazing, interesting, heartening, and exhausting.

It sounds a bit cliche after hearing it constantly over the past several months, but it is true. There is nothing like the joy of having a baby. Huxley seems to somehow add more completeness to the family.

We've appreciated all the visits and support from our family and friends. It is fantastic to know that Huxley has a circle of love surrounding and nurturing him.

We are finally starting to figure out our pattern. huxley is falling into a rhythm of feedings, diapers, and naps. He's even started to have some play times during the day where he likes to practice what we have decided to call, baby-foo - little kicks and punches.

Another cliche that we've heard over and over is that Huxley's childhood will pass in a flash.  I hope that one proves untrue...
